Carlos A. Teixeira
Carlos A. Teixeira was born in Manhattan, New York in 1962. He attended Erasmus Hall High School in Brooklyn, NY from 1978 to 1981. While attending Erasmus Hall High School, he played varsity football and received various awards and honors. After graduating from Erasmus Hall High School, he earned an athletic scholarship to attend Morgan State University, where he played football for two years. In 1984, he transferred to St. John’s University and played on the football team. As a starting offensive lineman, Carlos received the “All Conference Award” and was nominated as a candidate for the St. John’s University Football Hall of Fame. After earning a Bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University, Carlos became a Special Investigator with the New York City Department of Investigation, where he conducted public corruption and white collar crime investigations.
